 PRELIMINARY ACTIONS FOR THE MAKING OF THE VENTILATED CRAWLSPACE COLOSSEO
Execute a cleaning casting with thin concrete to make a well levelled laying plan of the crawlspace.
 1. PRE-ASSEMBLAGE
Pre-assemblage of the elements constituting the vertical structure, “ARCOPLAST with base”.
For heights over 45 cm, cut in advance the Ø 125 rigid PVC pipes of the desired height and interpose them between the ARCOPLAST and the base piece constituting the bearing pillars.
Successively link them following the laying direction indicated by the arrow. In the end block them with a 6 cm nails in the proper hookings till making rows with the useful length to cover the spans.
 2. MAKING OF THE VERTICAL STRUCTURE

Arrange the preassembled rows at the predetermined distance, In this case the wheelbase can be more than 96 cm up to 250 cm, this will depend on the entity of the weighing loads.

Make the anchoring of the “rompitratta” (beam which interrupts the length of a 4,5 metre higher floor)rows to the foundations or to the outside walls, through iron bars Ø 10 (fixed with hooks) arranged in an orthogonal grid.

In the end place the armours foreseen by the calculation: longitudinally to each “rompitratta” (beam which interrupts the length of a 4,5 metre higher floor) row and vertically for each pillar with U-shaped irons.
 3. CASTING STAGE OF THE VERTICAL STRUCTURE

Make the concrete casting up to the ARCOPLAST extrados, filling all the rows.

Before the casting (if necessary) grant a greater stability between the rows which compose the span and make a provisional link with a Ø 10 iron transversally placed to them.
 4. SYSTEMS
Arrange possible pipes and inspection wells of the technological systems.
ARCOPLAST can be used as supporting pedestals in case of suspended ducts.
 5. REALIZATION OF THE HORIZONTAL STRUCTURE

The horizontal structure can be laid as soon as the concrete casting is done.

The structure is realized arranging the prefabricated rafter in reinforced concrete or arranging the orthogonal trellises to the bearing vertical structure with a 50 cm wheelbase.

Interpose the open TEGOLPAST between a rafter and the other as it is used to do to make the floors. Successively arrange the resistant armour and the electrosoldered net as a distribution armour of the loads.
 6. CASTING OF THE HORIZONTAL STRUCTURE

In the last stage make the concrete casting starting with filling the ribbings and possible stringcourses, and complete the casting stage with the upper slab.For each single case and according to the lights and loads it is necessary to make the calculation to determine the wheelbase of the ARCOPLAST rows and of the armours arranged either vertically or horizontally.

Specifications

Making of the Colosseo crawlspace in order to guarantee an insulation between the foundation and the flooring with the creation of a sanitary space. It is made with modular elements in recycled plastic, equipped with a certification for a minimum breaking load of 150 kg, concentrated on a surface of 5x5 cm. The afore mentioned crawlspace is composed of: vertical structure (ARCOPLAST) h 35 x L 50 x Φ 12,5 cm including the base Φ 20, linked and fixed together with a 50 cm wheelbase blocked with a 6 cm nails inserted in the special holes, arranged in parallel rows with a 96 cm wheelbase, possible PVC pipes Φ 12,5 cm for heights over 47 cm and horizontal structure (open TEGOPLAST) whose sizes are 82x42 hooked between them and laid on prefabricated rafters in reinforced concrete arranged in 50 cm wheelbase.
This guarantees the concrete casting necessary to lay the crawlspace. The following are not included: Supplying and laying of reinforced concrete prefabricated rafters, electrosoldering net, the possible supplementary armour and needed ventilation openings, concrete necessary to lay the surface of the crawlspace, filling of the razed vertical structure and the horizontal one.
