TEGOPLAST, used to lighten reinforced concrete floors built with prefabricated rafters and /or trellises in reinforced concrete, represents a valid choice to the traditional brick blocks and other materials.
This original blocks reinterpretation contributes to lighten the permanent load of the floors and to reduce the time to make the bearing structure and of the foundations.
TEGOPLAST cuts down the seismic masses favouring the structural safety. During the working stages in the building yard, TEGOPLAST use produces a different varieties of economies regarding: the easiness of the laying, the lifting and moving in the building yard area and through the different floors of the building as well, and a remarkable reduction of the provisional supporting scaffoldings proportion due to the larger distance between the “rompitratta” (beam which interrupts the length of a 4,5 metre higher floor).
This structural typology is widely used in the civil building industry. It is created inserting an OPEN TEGOPLAST, between the prefabricated joists and/or trellises in reinforced concrete, and completed with a suitable armour and with a concrete casting.The afore mentioned reinterpretation is classified, according to the Ministerial decree 09/01/1996 as a mixed floor in concrete and reinforced concrete plus lightening blocks.
